‘Richo’ and his camels will be be at the festival grounds Saturday and Sunday for those keen to ride a camel!  Rides are reasonably priced at approximately $10 per person (rides operator yet to confirm 2021 price).

Helicopter Joy Flights

Take a joy flight over Tara during the Festival.  No need to book ahead, flights will be available Saturday and Sunday. The helicopter is a ‘Colibri’ (Hummingbird) and takes 4 passengers at a time. Cost: $60 per person for a 5 minute joy flight. EFTPOS available. These flights are run by Precision Aerial in conjunction with Executive Helicopters.

Camel Racing Saturday

Watch the excitement of a country camel race meet.  The jockeys and trainers have travelled from across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia, from afar as Boulia in Outback Queensland, to Anna Bay in NSW to compete for the coveted Tara Camel Cup! There’ll be 6 races on Saturday and another 6 on Sunday.
